[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Gulliksson is growing in terms of clients, assignments and employees. In late spring, the firm\u2019s Lund office welcomed new law graduate Emil Ekdahl Norling.

\n<\/span>From thesis internship to associate at Gulliksson\u2019s Lund office, it was Emil\u2019s interest in intellectual property law and dispute resolution that drew him to the firm.
\n<\/span>
\n<\/span>\u201cGulliksson was a no-brainer for me \u2013 this is where the big clients and the complex assignments are, but we also enjoy the advantages of being a medium-sized firm,\u201d says Emil, who goes on to tell us about the shared office with Str\u00f6m & Gulliksson:<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI appreciate the unique partnership we share with the patent firm. It allows us direct access to engineers and specialized expertise when working on complicated assignments or with clients who have industry-specific questions.\u201d
\n<\/span>
\n<\/span>While working on his thesis project on comparative alternative dispute resolution, Emil examined the available dispute resolution methods, how the methods are promoted, and their underlying purpose.
\n<\/span>
\n<\/span>\u201cMy mentor at Gulliksson, <\/span>Erik Esaiasson<\/span><\/a>, has given me valuable insight into how a lawyer thinks and why it may be suitable to opt for solutions beyond the courts or arbitration. It has been interesting to analyse the various extra-judicial factors that have an impact and examine them from a critical perspective.\u201d<\/span>
\n<\/span>
\n<\/span>Before studying law in Lund, Emil travelled and spent time abroad, and also studied economics and cognitive science.\u00a0<\/span>
\n<\/span>
