Niklas Hellsten

He is particularly specialized in intellectual property law and assists both large and small clients with the identification, protection, and commercialization of intellectual assets. His advice encompasses matters such as IP strategy, licensing, and infringement issues. He also handles related legal areas, including trade secrets and confidentiality, marketing law, and distribution and agency agreements, as well as reseller arrangements and strategic collaborations.

Niklas also has extensive experience in commercial dispute resolution and has acted as counsel in a wide range of disputes before Swedish courts and in both Swedish and international arbitration proceedings conducted under the rules of various institutions, including the SCC, SvFF, and CAS. He advises clients throughout all stages of a dispute, and his experience spans numerous legal fields and industries, including intellectual property disputes, IT disputes, disputes relating to research and development collaborations, construction disputes, M&A disputes, and sports-related disputes.

In addition, Niklas assists the firm’s insolvency practitioners with bankruptcy-related matters and is a member of the firm’s insolvency group.

Niklas is also part of the firm’s transactions group and has extensive experience in general corporate law advisory work, private mergers and acquisitions, business transfers, and investments in growth companies (venture capital).
